Our practices are run by a dedicated team led by Drs Amjad Ali and Yusuf Surtee and their highly trained and caring dentists, dental nurses and support staff. The whole team is actively committed to ongoing professional development.
Comfortable, modern, well equipped surgeries
All the surgeries are equipped with modern, up to date equipment. We offer comprehensive NHS care for the whole family, together with specialised care. We are a patient orientated practice and appreciate that anxiety about dental care is not uncommon. We aim to help you overcome any anxieties you may have, help you achieve a healthy mouth and give you the essential knowledge to prevent problems arising in the future.

We are dedicated to the provision of high quality dentistry in a caring and gentle way using the very latest dental techniques including implants, tooth whitening and porcelain veneers. Please see our treatments section for further information.

It is our priority to treat our patients as we would wish to be treated ourselves.

We are pleased to announce that Church View Cental and Derby Road Dental Practices have been awarded the BDA Good Practice.

The Good Practice Scheme is an independent recognition scheme to show patients that their practice is committed to a standard of good practice set by the profession’s own national association.

The following are the commitments the practice has undertaken.

We aim to provide dental care of consistently good quality for all patients
We only provide care that meets your needs and wishes.
We aim to make your treatment as comfortable and convenient as possible.
We look after your general health and safety while you are receiving dental care.
We follow the British Dental Association’s guidelines on infection control.
We check for mouth cancer and tell you what we find.
We take part in continuing professional development to keep our skills and knowledge up to date.
We train all staff in practice-wide work systems and review training plans once a year.
We welcome feedback and deal promptly with any complaints.
Every member of the practice is aware of the need to work safely under General Dental Council guidelines.

Our Derby Road dental practice is currently accepting new NHS patients. Church View dental practice has limited availability for NHS patients .

A message to all our patients

Due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID-19 outbreak and following official government advice, our Dental Practices will be re open from Monday 22nd June 2020, however we will only be running a limited service, seeing real emergencies and only able to offer emergency treatment for now.

This is for the safety of all our patients and our staff and our responsibility to limit the spread of the virus. Looking after the health and well-being of our patients and staff is our priority and so will be operating an emergency telephone consultation for our registered patients.

If you have a dental emergency, please contact us and we’ll take care of you - this will be in the form of phone advice or face to face appointment with us if appropriate or direction to the emergency dental clinics.

As a team we will continue to do all we can to return to work to offer the full range of treatments as soon as it is safe to do so.
